Corvette: No. 1 And No Argument

No 1 and no argument!

A lot of cars have tried arguing with a V8 Corvette high-priced big jobs and so called

American sports cars-right up until the starting gun.  After that, no argument.

From zero to you-name-it in a handful of seconds, the V8 Corvette takes off with the lightning thrust of 195 horsepower and there isn’t an American stock job on the road that can crawl abeam of it.

Number One…slashing through the turns, power-sliding with its wide-based, road-hugging tread clamped tight to the lane; soaring through long, sweeping curves without a hint of body roll; streaming a low-flying dust cylinder as it digs out and streaks wind-screaming into the straightaway.  Number One…and no argument!

A compact hoodful of high-compression power; massive brakes; a precise 16 to 1 steering ratio; 2850 pounds of go with a center of gravity only inches off the ground!  These are the features a Corvette does its arguing with-features that give it the safest combination of handling, control and balance that can be engineered into a car.  See yourself—we’ll be glad to arrange a test run.
